Verda Raises $117 Million for AI Cloud Infrastructure Platform

Verda announced $117 million in combined equity and debt financing to expand its AI cloud infrastructure platform globally. Lifeline Ventures led the equity round, joined by byFounders, Tesi, Varma, and others, while Nordic financial institutions provided debt financing.

The company will use the funding to enter the United Kingdom and United States markets, hire more than 100 employees, and invest in engineering and AI research teams.

What Verda Does

Verda builds a vertically integrated platform that offers on-demand GPU access, self-service clusters, serverless containers, and managed inference endpoints. The platform eliminates traditional procurement: no long sales cycles, no fixed contracts.

The company operates renewable energy-powered infrastructure and targets a shift toward what it calls "agentic buying"-where AI systems autonomously select and provision compute resources based on workload requirements. Infrastructure becomes consumed dynamically rather than negotiated through enterprise agreements.

Current Traction

Verda reports it is already cash flow positive with a revenue run rate exceeding $60 million in the first quarter of 2026. The company works with customers including 1X, Nokia, ExpressVPN, and Freepik, and holds status as an NVIDIA Preferred Partner.

The funding arrives as enterprises and startups seek scalable compute solutions for machine learning workloads. Verda positions itself as an alternative to hyperscale cloud providers, emphasizing transparency, flexibility, and real-time provisioning.

Ruben Bryon, Verda's founder and CEO, said: "We're building the next generation of AI cloud infrastructure for pioneering teams across the globe. This funding allows us to double down on development and accelerate our expansion across Europe, the US and Asia."
