Vi Launches AI Agents for Healthcare Operations, Completes $145M Funding Round
Vi, an enterprise AI platform focused on healthcare, announced a suite of AI agents designed to automate decision-making across patient care, clinical operations, and drug development. The company closed a $145 million funding round at a $1.64 billion valuation.
The agents integrate with Vi's existing Activate, Engage, and Operate applications to recommend next steps for patients, physicians, and operational teams. They draw on Vi's Data Web, which aggregates clinical signals, behavioral data, and operational metrics to enable real-time decisions.
What the agents do
Vi's AI agents handle four primary functions:
- Patient care navigation
- Physician decision support
- Clinical trial acceleration
- Drug commercialization and operational optimization
The company serves more than 100 enterprise customers across healthcare and life sciences. Vi said its platform has supported the commercialization of 50 drugs and covers 190 million lives.
Funding and growth
The $145 million round included both secondary and primary capital. Vi said it will use the funding to hire and retain talent, expand its platform, develop new products, and strengthen its balance sheet.
General Atlantic, Revelstoke, Square Peg, and other investors participated in the round. Vi estimates its platform has generated $2 billion in measurable value across its customer base.
