Weavy Raises $4M to Launch Unified AI Design Platform for Creative Teams and Enterprises
Weavy launches a new AI-era visual creation platform, backed by $4M seed funding. It unifies AI tools and design workflows for teams and freelancers.

Weavy Launches Next Generation Visual Creation Platform
Weavy has introduced a new visual creation platform built specifically for the AI era, now available to the public after securing $4 million in seed funding. The round was led by Entrée Capital, with contributions from Designer Fund, Founder Collective, and Fiverr founder Micha Kaufman.
This platform is aimed at professional designers and creators, supporting both individuals and teams. It caters to freelancers as well as large enterprises, already gaining adoption by major clients such as NVIDIA, Wix, eToro, Taboola, and CrazyLabs.
Bridging the Gap Between AI Potential and Creative Control
Lior Elbak, CEO and co-founder of Weavy, explains that while AI has transformed design possibilities, there remains a gap between AI’s potential and its practical use for professionals. “Weavy puts creators back in full control of the process and opens up new opportunities for collaboration and managing large-scale projects,” he says.
Designers working across branding, advertising, film, and gaming frequently struggle with fragmented workflows, inconsistent AI outputs, and limited team collaboration. Weavy addresses these issues by offering a unified workspace that integrates leading AI models—including OpenAI, Kling, Flux, Runway, and Ideogram—with industry-standard editing tools like layer-based composition, masking, and matte workflows, all on one visual canvas.
Streamlined Workflow and Team Collaboration
The platform allows designers to document their creative processes and convert them into visual, shareable workflows that scale efficiently. It also supports the creation of user-friendly design applications, making complex workflows accessible even to non-experts.
Teams can distribute these design apps across departments, helping maintain brand consistency throughout large organizations.
Investor Confidence and Market Potential
Avi Eyal, Managing Partner at Entrée Capital, highlights the platform’s significance: “Weavy enables designers to grow with AI instead of being replaced by it, a crucial perspective for forward-thinking teams.”
Ben Blumenrose, co-founder at Designer Fund and early Meta designer, adds, “Weavy offers not just fast, high-quality visuals but a way for entire teams to control and collaborate on the design process effectively. It’s a true force multiplier.”
