The Rise of AI in Schools
The presence of artificial intelligence in classrooms is impossible to ignore. Students are adopting AI tools eagerly, educators are struggling to manage their use, and policymakers are trying to keep pace with this fast-changing environment. There’s no turning back on AI integration, but questions remain about where it belongs.
Producers Annie He, a senior at John Dewey High School, and Roberto Bailey, a junior at Hunter College High School, explore the surge in AI use among students and raise concerns about its impact on creativity. Writing teachers, in particular, worry about how AI might affect students’ original work.
