Wipeboard Adds AI Brainstorming Tool for $19 a Month
Wipeboard, a project management whiteboard for small teams and agencies, launched an AI-powered ideation add-on on May 6 that generates ideas directly within team boards. The feature costs $19 monthly and converts brainstorm sessions into project tasks with a single click.
Users describe a challenge in plain language-a product launch, campaign brief, or strategic problem-and select from five AI generation modes: broad ideas, specific tactics, constraints, unanswered questions, or unconventional options. The AI produces eight sticky-card-style ideas per round, each 10 to 15 words long.
Teams drag selected cards onto a shared canvas, discard others, and generate additional rounds as needed. Built-in grouping, labels, and voting tools help prioritize ideas collaboratively. When ready, teams convert chosen cards into live project tasks in an existing Wipeboard project or create a new one automatically.
Pricing and Access
The add-on works with any existing Wipeboard plan. Users on Growth ($39/month) and Scale ($79/month) plans get access to more powerful AI models, higher daily generation limits, and real-time collaborative sessions with cursor presence.
Wipeboard's base plans range from $9 to $79 monthly, plus custom enterprise pricing. The company offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
Broader Platform Strategy
This launch marks the first expansion beyond Wipeboard's core project board. The company is developing Wipeboard Education, a FERPA and COPPA-compliant classroom tool for K-12 teachers, with a target launch later this year. Wipeboard Justice, designed for district attorney offices and law enforcement case strategy, is also in development.
