XBP Global Names Acquelia Colaco as Chief Human Resources Officer

XBP Global Holdings has appointed Acquelia Colaco as Chief Human Resources Officer, tasking her with building a workforce designed to operate effectively alongside AI systems across the company's global operations.

Colaco will oversee HR strategy across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Her mandate includes developing talent and leadership capabilities, redesigning organizational structures around automation, and strengthening employee experience as the company scales its AI-driven operations.

Background and Experience

Colaco brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience. She has held senior roles at Tesco Business Solutions, Infosys Technologies, IBM Global Process Services, and RND Softech, where she managed large, multi-country teams and worked with business leaders to drive measurable results.

The Challenge Ahead

Andrej Jonovic, XBP Global's Chief Executive Officer, said the company is operating in an early stage of disruption that is forcing enterprises to rethink staffing, skills, and organizational design. He said the companies that will succeed are those that deliberately redesign around human strengths rather than treating automation as a cost-cutting exercise.

"The human accountability factor" is central to that strategy, Jonovic said.

Colaco said the work extends beyond adopting AI. "Our focus is on developing talent, leadership, and ways of working that enable people to operate alongside intelligent systems at scale," she said.

For HR professionals managing this transition, resources like the AI Learning Path for CHROs and broader AI for Human Resources training can help build the skills needed to lead workforce transformation in an AI-driven enterprise.
