Zig.ai Adds AI Agents for Lead Generation, Prospect Research and Outreach
Zig.ai launched AI agents that automate lead generation, prospect research, qualification and outreach on its autonomous sales platform. The agents handle tasks that typically consume two to four hours of a sales rep's day, completing them in minutes.
The platform cross-verifies contact and company data across public and private datasets to surface validated emails, phone numbers and contact details. It also introduces lookalike account intelligence, which analyzes patterns from closed deals and surfaces similar companies with drafted outreach sequences ready for review.
How the agents work
Sales reps describe their target prospect profile, and the AI agents handle the rest. Rather than juggling separate tools for lead generation, research and qualification, reps now have one system managing those functions autonomously.
"Reps don't need another tool," said Lavish Mantri, co-founder and head of engineering at Zig.ai. "They need their best deals to teach the system. Every close sharpens who we go after, what we say, when we send."
The agents learn from each closed deal, refining their targeting and messaging over time. This approach turns successful sales patterns into repeatable processes that the system applies to future prospects.
Part of a broader platform
The lead generation feature builds on Zig.ai's existing AI for Sales capabilities. The company previously launched Zigscribe, an AI agent that converts sales meetings into execution items.
Zig.ai's approach consolidates functions that sales teams traditionally split across multiple vendors - from data providers to email platforms to research tools - into a single agent-driven system.
