Zuper Launches AI Command Center for Contractors
Zuper, a Seattle-based software company, released Zuper Sense, an AI operations platform built for roofing and exterior contractors. The system monitors jobs, invoices, crews and customer accounts in real time, flagging problems before they become costly.
Contractors can ask business questions in plain language-"what is at risk this week?"-and receive answers within seconds. The platform then deploys AI agents to handle specific tasks like collections calls, dispatch coordination and customer outreach.
What the system catches
Zuper Sense continuously scans operational data for aging estimates, delayed invoices, labor overruns and inefficient dispatch routes. It also pulls in external information through what the company calls "Intelligence Packages," including weather forecasts and competitor reviews.
The difference from traditional reporting: contractors see problems as they happen, not in a Friday spreadsheet summarizing what went wrong Monday.
Early results
Roofing contractors in Zuper's early-access program recovered between $50,000 and $150,000 per month in estimates that would have expired unused. Other reported improvements included faster invoice collections and faster response rates to storm-event calls.
JT Ulyatt, CEO of Maven, a roofing contractor based in Hampstead, North Carolina, said the tool changed how he runs his business. "For most of my career, the roofing industry has run on reports we read after the fact," he said. "Zuper Sense is the first tool I have used that actually runs ahead of an operator."
