AI agent for fine artists

Artist Statement and Bio Version Control Agent

All bios and CVs agree with the master facts and are ready to replace the old versions

Artist Statement and Bio Version Control Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Old bios and CVs circulate with outdated facts, and each application needs a different length. When something new happens, such as a show, award or publication, this agent updates the master facts file. It finds every version in use across files, sites and profiles, and regenerates each length, such as 50, 100 and 250 words, from the master. It then checks that dates, titles and counts agree across all versions, for example that 'solo shows' is the same number everywhere. Mismatches are corrected and checked again. It lists every public page that needs replacing. The artist approves before any public page is replaced. Edge case: a version written for a specific grant stays unchanged unless the artist asks.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A version passes when every date, title and count matches the master. A public page is listed for replacement when its text differs from the current version.

  • Count solo and group shows separately and consistently
  • Keep grant-specific versions unchanged
  • Write each length from the master only
  • Flag a version over its word limit

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Bio lengths to produce
  • Where versions are stored
  • Which profiles count as public
  • Tone of the bio

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Replacing any public page
  • Adding an achievement to the master

Hard limits

  • Never publishes anything
  • Never adds achievements the artist has not confirmed

It stops when

  • Done: versions match and the artist approved
  • Stop: the master file is missing

An example run

What happensA painter added a solo show in Lisbon. Her 100-word bio said 'five solo shows' but the website said four. The check failed on the count. The agent found that the website version predated two shows and corrected it from the master. Updated versions at 50, 100 and 250 words then agreed, and the artist approved replacing 4 pages.
