AI agent for paramedics
Cardiac Arrest Registry Data Agent
Submit a complete, consistent registry form soon after each arrest.
What it does
Cardiac arrest registries ask for dozens of fields, and the answers are spread across the care report, dispatch times, monitor data and hospital outcome. This agent opens the case after the call and collects times, first rhythm, shocks, drugs, airway steps and outcome. It checks every field for gaps and conflicts, such as a shock time earlier than the arrival time. For each problem it drafts a question to the right person, for example the crew or dispatch, and waits for the answer. It then rechecks the full form. The quality officer reviews and approves submission to the registry. Edge case: the hospital outcome is not known yet, so the agent holds that field and schedules a recheck rather than guessing.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- A cardiac arrest call closes
- Collect times, rhythms, interventions and outcome from each source
- Fill the registry fields and note the source of each
- Are all fields filled and free of conflicts? If not: send questions to the crew or dispatch and wait for answers. Back to step 3.
- Merge the clarifications
- Check the hospital outcome record
- Is the outcome known? If not: hold the outcome field and set a recheck in 7 days. Back to step 6.
- Quality officer approves the formThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Submit to the registry
- Submitted form and audit trail
How it decides
A field is accepted only if its source is named and it agrees with other fields. Conflicts become questions.
- Flag any time that runs backward
- Never fill a field without a named source
- Ask the crew about a missing intervention after 2 days
- Hold the form until the outcome is known or 30 days pass
