AI agent for paramedics

Event Medical Standby Plan Agent

A medical cover plan that fits the event, with posts, staff, kit and access routes, ready for the lead's approval.

Event Medical Standby Plan Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Planning medical cover for a concert or a race means balancing crowd size, weather, the site and staffing, and the plan is often built from memory. The agent takes the event details, estimates expected patient numbers from past events of the same type, size and weather, and proposes first aid posts, staff mix and kit. It checks the ambulance routes to each post and to the nearest hospital, and revises the layout if a post lacks cover or a route is blocked. It rechecks the whole plan when the weather forecast or the crowd estimate changes. The lead approves the final plan. Edge case: a main road closed for the event that cuts the usual ambulance route.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It scales patient estimates from similar past events by crowd and weather, then places posts so every area is within a set response time.

  • Target a response time of 4 minutes inside the site
  • Add staff when the forecast is above 86F
  • Keep at least one ambulance with a clear route
  • Rerun when attendance changes by 15%

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Response time target (default 4 minutes)
  • Past event types to compare
  • Staffing ratios
  • Weather triggers

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Lead approves the final plan
  • Lead approves any change to staff levels

Hard limits

  • Never commit staff or kit without approval
  • Do not give clinical orders

It stops when

  • Done: approved plan shared
  • Stop: a legal or access limit cannot be met and the lead must decide

An example run

What happensFor a 12,000 person race, past events suggest about 40 patients. The agent proposes 4 posts and 10 staff. The first check shows the east side is 7 minutes from a post, so it adds a post. The route check finds a road closure on the finish line, so it plans a second route. The lead approves the plan.
