AI agent for director of business developments
New Revenue Stream Test Agent
A decision to continue, change or stop a new offer based on demand and margin evidence
What it does
A new offer can look exciting and still lose money. Directors of business development often launch before they know whether customers will pay or what the margin will be. This agent runs a short test. It starts by defining the pass criteria with the director, such as number of paying pilots, price accepted and margin. It gathers customer signals from calls, sign-ups, quotes and replies, and models the margin using real costs. It checks the results against the criteria each week. If a criterion is missed, it suggests a change to price, scope or audience and keeps testing, up to a set end date. It then recommends continue, change or stop. The director approves. Edge case: demand is strong but margin is thin, so the agent tests a higher price.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides
An offer continues when demand and margin both meet their thresholds. If only one meets, it suggests a change. If neither meets by the end date, it recommends stopping.
- Continue when demand is at least the target and margin is above the floor
- Test a higher price when demand is strong and margin is thin
- Stop when neither passes by the end date
- Count only paid or written commitments as demand
