What The Course Covers
You will work through eight lessons, each focused on a core product owner task. The lessons are user story writing, requirements refinement, backlog prioritization, sprint planning support, accepting completed work, stakeholder communication, product progress monitoring, and vision and strategy.
Every lesson gives you a prompt you can copy and adapt. You will also see examples of how the prompt works and what to check in the AI's output.
How The Lessons Connect
The lessons build on each other. You start with writing clear user stories, then refine requirements, then prioritize the backlog. From there you move to sprint planning, accepting work, and communicating with stakeholders.
The last two lessons on progress monitoring and vision help you zoom out. By the end, you have a full set of prompts that cover the product owner workflow from day to day to long term.
How To Use Prompts Well
Give the AI context. Instead of asking for a user story, describe the user, the goal, and the constraints. The more specific you are, the better the draft. Always review and edit the output; you know your product best.
Use a follow-up prompt to ask for alternatives or to check for edge cases. Treat the AI as a helpful colleague who can draft quickly but needs your direction and final approval.
Who This Course Is For
This course is for product owners, whether you are new to the role or have years of experience. If you want to save time on writing and organizing, and spend more time on decisions and relationships, this course is for you.
You do not need any technical background. You just need a willingness to try prompts and see how they fit your daily work.
Safety And Privacy
Do not share sensitive company data, personal user information, or confidential strategy with public AI tools. Follow your company's rules about what can be entered into AI. When in doubt, leave it out.
Treat AI output as a draft, not a final answer. You are responsible for what you share with your team and stakeholders. Review everything for accuracy and tone before sending.
Your Next Step
Pick one lesson that matches a task you have this week. Try the prompt on a real backlog item or a stakeholder update. See how it feels and what time it saves.
Then move to the next lesson. Small steps add up quickly. Before you know it, you will have a set of prompts that make your product owner work smoother and faster.
