GapBase MCP server
Your AI can search 474 startup gap ideas by industry or keyword, right inside your chat.

GapBase is a database of 474 business pain points collected from places like Reddit, LinkedIn and X. This MCP server lets your AI assistant search that whole list for you, without opening a website. It is handy if you are looking for a small project to build and want ideas with a clear problem and a suggested direction.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one extra skill. This helper connects your AI to the GapBase database, which is a list of business problems people have complained about online. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI to look things up in GapBase, and it will fetch the matching entries for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a normal question, like which gaps exist in a certain industry. Your AI passes that question to this helper program. The helper looks through the 474 gap entries stored on your own computer and picks the ones that match. It sends them back to your AI, which shows you the problem statement, a suggested build direction, and a link to a longer blueprint. Nothing leaves your machine, so it works even without internet.
