Abliteration.org MCP server

by neymark · official

Lets your AI search a catalog of uncensored AI models, their methods, and their download and deletion history.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to abliteration.org, a public catalog of uncensored and abliterated AI models. Once it is set up, you can ask your AI questions about that catalog in plain English and it will look the answers up for you. It is handy for researchers, writers and anyone curious about how these models appear and disappear over time.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to abliteration.org, so it can look things up in that catalog and report back. You ask a question, your AI passes it to this helper, and the helper fetches the answer from the site.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something about uncensored models, like which ones exist or how a certain method is classified. Your AI sends that request to this helper, which talks to the abliteration.org public API. The site returns the matching records, and the helper hands them back to your AI. Your AI then shows you the result in the chat, along with a short line telling you how many credits the lookup cost. Every call is read-only, so nothing in the catalog gets changed.

What you can do with it

  • Search uncensored and abliterated models by method, author, license or download count
  • Look up the full record for one model, including its classification and benchmarks
  • Browse the M-code taxonomy of uncensoring methods
  • List publishers and their top models
  • Search alignment and uncensoring datasets
  • Check the four flagship indices and their history
  • See which models were delisted or deleted over the past 24 months

Try asking your AI

  • “Find uncensored Llama models with more than 10,000 downloads”
  • “What is method M-code M12 and which authors use it most”
  • “Show me the models that were delisted from Hugging Face in the last month”
  • “What does the Freedom Velocity index look like right now”

What it gives back to you

You get back lists, records and summaries written in the chat, based on what the site holds. For example, a search returns matching models with their names and download numbers, and a deletion summary returns rates and monthly figures. Each reply starts with a small line like cost: 5 cr and your remaining balance, so you always know what was spent. Nothing is changed on your side; it is all lookups.

Before you start

What you need

  • An API key from abliteration.org/api (it looks like abl_live_...)
  • Credits in your abliteration.org wallet, since each lookup costs a few credits
  • An MCP host such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or Windsurf
  • Node.js installed on your computer, because the helper runs through npx

Good to know

Each lookup spends credits from your abliteration.org wallet, so keep an eye on the cost line and your balance, especially for the timeline tool which costs more.

Install it with your AI

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
