Adobe Launches AI Agents to Automate Marketing Workflows
Adobe announced three new AI offerings Monday to help marketing teams automate customer lifecycle management, from acquisition through loyalty. The company introduced these tools at its annual Adobe Summit.
The centerpiece is Adobe CX Enterprise, a system that combines AI agents, agent skills, and integrations with external AI platforms. It lets businesses customize the system to their specific needs rather than running one-off experiments.
Anil Chakravarthy, president of Adobe's customer experience orchestration business, said the platform helps teams "move beyond AI experiments to tangible business outcomes."
A New Coworker for Marketing Teams
Adobe also released CX Enterprise Coworker, which embeds agentic AI directly into marketing workflows. The tool surfaces insights from Adobe's enterprise applications and gives teams access to AI agents for engagement tasks.
Anjul Bhambhri, senior vice president of engineering at Adobe, said the coworker represents "the next step for businesses that are retooling marketing workflows to help teams take advantage of agentic AI technology."
Broader Integration Across Platforms
Adobe expanded partnerships with major AI platforms including Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, Google Cloud, Microsoft, and OpenAI. Adobe's AI agents and developer tools will now be available within these companies' offerings.
Amit Ahuja, senior vice president of product at Adobe, said the move addresses a key problem: "Marketers should not have to choose between their organization's AI tools and the marketing capabilities required to drive impactful outcomes."
Financial Outlook
Adobe expects these AI tools to drive revenue growth. The company projected in December 2025 that it would reach $26.1 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2026, up from $25.9 billion, with double-digit annual recurring revenue growth.
