Adobe released a new AI agent platform this week designed to automate digital marketing and advertising for enterprise customers. The company announced CX Enterprise, an agent-based system that manages customer engagement, sales, and loyalty across marketing teams.

The platform powers more than 1 trillion experiences annually through Adobe Experience Platform Agent Orchestrator, which integrates AI agents directly into Adobe's enterprise applications.

How It Works for Marketers

CX Enterprise gives marketers reusable agent skills-essentially modules that automate common tasks across different AI agents. This approach mirrors early internet software development, where modular components reduced duplication and sped up deployment.

Two new software tools support the platform. Adobe Brand Intelligence maintains brand identity by learning from feedback and tracking when the system rejects certain assets. Adobe Engagement Intelligence System acts as a decision engine, recommending the next best offer, message, or action for each customer based on lifetime value rather than clicks alone.

Adobe partnered with Dick's Sporting Goods to demonstrate the platform in action. The retailer uses Adobe Experience Platform to consolidate customer data across touchpoints, then applies Adobe GenStudio to streamline content creation and delivery as consumer preferences shift.
