Adverity launches Adverity Atlas to add governed context to marketing data for AI

Adverity today launched Adverity Atlas, a marketing knowledge layer designed to fix one of the most persistent obstacles to enterprise AI adoption: data that lacks governed business context. Most marketing AI pilots fail not because the technology is wrong, but because the AI has no understanding of recent business decisions-like budget reallocations or new promotions-and so gives confidently wrong answers.

The context problem in marketing AI

Gartner research shows that at least 50% of AI projects are abandoned after proof of concept. The problem Atlas addresses is familiar to anyone working at the intersection of AI for Marketing: models that lack business context produce outputs that erode trust, according to Adverity. Without knowing what metrics mean and what is happening in the business, AI retrieves whichever version of an answer it finds first, not the governed one.

How Atlas fits into enterprise infrastructure

Atlas does not replace existing systems. It sits on top of enterprise data warehouses-including Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Redshift-adding a governed knowledge layer without requiring organizations to migrate data or rebuild their stacks. It works whether data was loaded through Adverity's ETL tool, Connect, or any other pipeline. Built on more than a decade of deployments representing over $80 billion in managed ad spend, Atlas embeds the marketing knowledge needed to bring AI from experimentation into production.

From anomaly detection to governed AI agents

Atlas operates in two ways. Through its native interface, it acts as an autonomous marketing analyst, flagging anomalies and answering cross-platform questions. For organizations that build their own AI agents or internal workflows, it supplies the underlying marketing context those systems need to function accurately.

Alexander IgelsbΓΆck, CEO and Co-Founder at Adverity, said: "The industry doesn't need more AI tools, it needs AI that understands the business it's working for and specialised architecture that understands the nuances of marketing data and spend. We aren't asking enterprises to migrate their data or abandon their existing cloud warehouses. Whether a team uses our built-in UI to surface anomalies or hooks Atlas up to their own internal workflows and tools, they are getting a secure system where every data action is fully governed, logged, and entirely within their control."

Why this matters for marketers

For marketing leaders, the launch signals that AI adoption is maturing from stand-alone tools to infrastructure layers that understand business operations. Teams that want to move beyond proof of concept will need to ensure their AI systems operate on governed, contextualized data rather than raw feeds. Adverity Atlas offers a way to add that layer without abandoning existing data warehouses or pipelines. The product is available to enterprise and agency customers in DACH, the UK and the US.
