For the first time in Armenia, an artificial intelligence (AI) system has been introduced to analyze laboratory data within the healthcare sector. Developed by the local startup Docus in cooperation with the Blood Cells laboratory network, this assistant program enables individuals to monitor their health by accessing laboratory test results along with personalized recommendations.
Advancing Medical Data Management
Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan highlighted at a recent press conference that the collection and management of medical data in Armenia have reached a crucial stage of progress. She stressed the importance of safeguarding data security and medical confidentiality while acknowledging the need for legislative updates to regulate the use, storage, and analysis of medical information.
