Anthropic Launches Claude Design, an AI Tool for Creating Interfaces and Marketing Materials
Anthropic has released Claude Design, an experimental tool that generates user interfaces, prototypes, presentations, and marketing materials. The product runs on Claude Opus 4.7, the company's most advanced model to date, and is available to subscribers on Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.
The tool targets users without design experience. It automates the main stages of creating visual content, from initial concept to finished asset.
Brand Style Adaptation
Claude Design can analyze existing visual materials and apply brand guidelines automatically. This feature eliminates manual setup for companies rolling out designs across multiple projects or teams.
Users can export finished work to multiple formats: PDF, PPTX, and HTML. A single command transfers designs to Claude Code for further development, or imports them into Canva for additional editing.
Part of a Broader Strategy
Anthropic Labs, the division that developed Claude Design, serves as a testing ground for new AI interaction capabilities. The release reflects the company's strategy to position Claude as a platform for work and creativity beyond conversational AI.
In April, Anthropic introduced Claude Managed Agents, an environment for running complex, long-running tasks. Claude Design sits alongside these tools as the company expands what Claude can do.
