Nordic opens Mexico facility to expand healthcare IT consulting services

Healthcare IT consulting firm Nordic has opened a delivery facility in Mexico, growing its global network to support Epic services, managed services, digital transformation, data and analytics, cloud operations, and AI-enabled healthcare solutions. The company said the new center is designed to increase access to skilled technology talent and enhance its ability to support complex healthcare technology and transformation initiatives.

Part of a global delivery strategy

Nordic said the Mexico facility will operate as an extension of its existing global delivery team rather than as a separate outsourcing operation. Clients will continue to work with coordinated teams across the company's U.S. and international locations, supported by a unified delivery approach.

The facility will support a broad range of client requirements, including Epic implementation and optimization, managed services, cloud and infrastructure operations, digital transformation initiatives, and advanced data, analytics, and AI capabilities.

Rising demand for healthcare IT services

"Healthcare organizations continue to face workforce challenges, rising costs, and increasing demands on their technology investments," said Alicia Harkness, CEO of Nordic. She said growing the company's global team will enable broader support across Epic optimization, managed services, data and analytics, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

"Demand continues to grow for managed services, Epic support, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities," said Mickey Davis, president of managed services at Nordic. He said growing the global workforce will help scale operations while maintaining service quality and healthcare-focused expertise.

Service model stays the same

Nordic said the expansion is intended to increase delivery capacity while maintaining its existing service model. The company said the Mexico facility strengthens global delivery capabilities by providing additional capacity to address evolving client needs without changing its existing engagement model.

The expansion builds on more than 16 years of Nordic's experience in healthcare IT consulting. The company said its global delivery model focuses on long-term client relationships, operational consistency, and workforce stability while supporting healthcare organizations with technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Why this matters for healthcare professionals

The Mexico facility signals that healthcare organizations are investing in technology modernization, digital transformation, and AI-enabled solutions. For professionals in healthcare IT, that means continued demand for skills in Epic optimization, managed services, data analytics, and AI for Healthcare - areas where Nordic is growing its workforce.
