Braze releases AI tools for marketers, adds EU data hosting

Braze Inc. launched two agentic AI tools and a design integration platform on April 23, along with EU-based data hosting for its decisioning engine. The announcements target marketers who need to build campaigns faster and creatives working across design and marketing workflows.

BrazeAI Operator is an in-dashboard assistant that helps marketers build campaigns, generate content and troubleshoot workflows without relying on technical teams. The tool runs inside Braze's platform and handles complex messaging strategies.

BrazeAI Agent Console provides a centralized environment to build and deploy AI agents that generate content, interpret customer data and adapt campaigns in real time. Marketers can act on customer signals as they happen instead of using preset rules.

Cleo Labs, a family care platform, rebuilt its welcome experience with Operator and reported an 81% reduction in unsubscribes, a 97% drop in opt-outs on the first email, a 284% increase in app opens and a 124% lift in push notification engagement. The American Diabetes Association used Operator to shift from single-send messaging to multistep journeys.

Design tools integrated directly

Braze Creative Studio combines asset management, templates and brand guidelines with direct integrations to Figma and Canva. Marketers and creatives can import creative assets and full email templates from both design tools without losing design quality.

This addresses a workflow gap where creative work typically moves between separate tools before reaching campaign platforms. The integration keeps designs intact through the import process.

EU data residency now available

BrazeAI Decisioning Studio can now be hosted in the EU on Google Cloud. Customer data processed by the tool no longer leaves the region, which addresses data residency requirements under GDPR and sector-specific regulations in financial services, healthcare and the public sector.

The EU deployment supports the same real-time decisioning features available elsewhere with no compromise on latency or functionality.

Braze co-founder and Chief Executive Bill Magnuson said the tools are production-ready and already in use. "Brands that seize this moment will build the businesses that customers remember and choose," he said.
