EventsAir launches AI assistants to handle event planning and attendee support

EventsAir released a new set of AI-powered assistants called Air Intelligence on April 22, designed to let event planners ask questions about their data and receive answers in real time rather than building reports or searching multiple systems.

The assistants handle two distinct jobs. For planners, they surface insights from event data and suggest actions as an event unfolds. For attendees, they provide personalized session recommendations and real-time updates without requiring staff intervention.

Paul Trappett, CEO at EventsAir, said the shift addresses a core frustration in event management. "For too long, event professionals have had to work around systems, rather than with them," he said.

Air Intelligence draws on EventsAir's 35 years of event delivery experience and integrates with the company's existing event data systems. The assistants are designed with agent-like capabilities-meaning they can interpret information and take action independently rather than simply responding to direct commands.

Mehdi Khalili, CTO at EventsAir, said the goal is to free planners from routine tasks. "Air Intelligence is designed to extend what planners are capable of, giving them more time to focus on the strategic and creative elements that make events truly impactful," he said.

Event professionals managing complex conferences, trade shows, or large-scale gatherings can use the assistants to reduce time spent on data management and attendee support tasks.
