FPT and Amata to Deploy AI Across Southeast Asian Industrial Parks
FPT Corporation and Amata Group have signed a memorandum of understanding to integrate artificial intelligence across Amata's industrial parks in Thailand, Vietnam, and the broader Southeast Asia region. Thailand's Prime Minister, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, attended the signing ceremony.
The partnership covers six areas: smart industrial estate development, a unified digital platform for tenants, manufacturing transformation for resident companies, sustainability initiatives, workforce training, and supply chain optimization.
Smart Infrastructure and Operations
FPT and Amata will design intelligent solutions for Amata's parks, including AI-based monitoring and predictive maintenance for utilities, smart security systems, and digital twin technology. The work will integrate IoT sensors, data platforms, and analytics to improve how the parks operate and manage resources.
The companies will also develop Amata Digital Hub, a platform that consolidates tenant services such as permitting, licensing, compliance, facility management, billing, and supply chain connectivity in one system.
Manufacturing and Enterprise Support
For factories operating in Amata's parks, FPT will help implement smart factory solutions including manufacturing execution systems, AI-driven quality control, and robotics. The partnership will also modernize enterprise resource planning systems and optimize supply chains.
Carbon tracking and reporting tools will support Amata's Net Zero commitments and ESG goals.
Workforce Development
FPT will develop training courses and vocational programs focused on digital manufacturing and smart factory operations. Certificate-granting centers will be established across Amata's industrial parks to build regional skills in these areas.
FPT's Capabilities
FPT operates an AI-first model built on its FleziPT platform and employs more than 30,000 AI-augmented engineers. The company uses a five-stage AI transformation framework called CASAN-Curious, Augmented, Standard, Automatic, and Native-to help enterprises move from isolated AI projects to company-wide adoption with measurable results.
FPT serves over 500 enterprises across Asia Pacific, including Unilever, Honda, Panasonic, and major financial institutions. The company reported 2025 revenue of $2.66 billion with 54,000 employees globally.
