GE HealthCare launches free AI training program for clinicians

GE HealthCare is offering more than 20 hours of free AI education through its HelloAI program, addressing a gap between physician adoption and formal training in the field.

The curriculum covers AI integration in radiology and ultrasound, data handling, responsible adoption frameworks, and how clinicians communicate AI findings to patients. The company designed the program for clinicians, researchers, administrators, and leaders, with content available on demand online.

A separate one-hour introductory course called HelloAI Foundations is also free.

Physician use of AI has more than doubled since 2023, reaching 81% according to the American Medical Association. Training availability has not kept pace with this adoption rate.

GE HealthCare holds the most FDA authorizations for AI-enabled medical devices in the U.S., with 100 clearances granted over four years.

The program is available at helloaiprofessional.com.

Healthcare professionals looking to build foundational knowledge may also benefit from exploring AI for Healthcare resources that cover broader applications across medical practice and patient care.
