Greengage Solutions has relaunched its ECOsmart portal, introducing the first AI-supported assessment system tailored for the business travel, hospitality, and events sectors. This platform streamlines the path to securing ECOsmart sustainability certification, making the process faster and more efficient.

The certification journey begins with an online survey that evaluates an organisation’s current sustainability status. Previously, gathering the necessary data was time-consuming, often requiring manual input from various departments. Now, organisations can simply upload existing policies, reports, and related documents to the ECOsmart portal.

At the heart of the portal is SMARTscan, an AI tool that analyses uploaded materials and automatically extracts relevant data to complete up to 60% of the survey in a fraction of the usual time. This efficiency allows organisations to move swiftly into implementing their sustainability plans and achieving tangible results sooner.

Key Functions of SMARTscan

• Verifies sustainability statements against established standards, ensuring compliance with green claims regulations and preparing organisations for the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Replacer supports organisations in reducing, eliminating, substituting, or improving the disposal of these items.
