Knak Opens Marketing Production Platform to AI Agents

Knak announced support for the Model Context Protocol, allowing AI for Marketing agents to access marketing assets and build campaigns without manual handoffs or custom development.

The move lets AI assistants call Knak directly to generate emails, landing pages, and digital assets while enforcing brand guidelines. Previously, marketers built these materials manually within Knak's platform. Now the same production layer works whether a human or an AI agent is requesting it.

OpenAI, Meta, and Google are already using Knak as the production layer in AI-driven marketing workflows, according to the company.

How the Architecture Works

Knak sits between intake and execution in marketing operations stacks. AI orchestration layers send structured content requests to Knak, which returns on-brand assets ready for review and launch.

The setup preserves human control. Marketing operations teams set brand guardrails, access controls, and governance rules. Assets still require approval before shipping.

"You still need a production layer that takes what the AI hands off and turns it into something that can actually ship," said Jeff Canada, marketing operations lead at OpenAI. "That's where Knak sits in our stack, and it's what makes the whole workflow actually close."

Current Capabilities and Rollout

MCP support is available to Knak customers in alpha. ChatGPT and Claude can now connect to Knak to generate emails using existing templates.

The company plans to add brand compliance features and expanded platform functionality in upcoming releases.

Knak will present a session at Adobe Summit 2026 on Tuesday, April 21, demonstrating how enterprise teams are building AI-native production workflows.
