Luma AI to launch fully Arabic AI creative platform for Saudi creative communities

Luma AI will introduce a fully native Arabic-language interface for Luma Agents, its unified AI creative platform, later this year. The update, announced at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, makes Arabic the first non-English interface language on the platform and targets creative professionals across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.

Luma Agents already supports Arabic-language prompting and generates Arabic-language creative outputs. The new update goes further, localising the entire user experience including navigation, menus, and workflow tools. The platform will let creators move from initial idea to finished work without switching between languages.

Why the Arabic interface matters

Arabic-language interfaces remain uncommon among AI generation platforms, even as demand for AI-powered content creation grows across the GCC and MENA region. Luma's move removes a practical barrier for creative teams that work primarily in Arabic.

The update follows Luma's strategic partnership with HUMAIN and direct engagement with creatives and enterprises in Saudi Arabia. It also forms part of the company's broader investment in the country, which includes establishing a regional headquarters in Riyadh.

Built with the creative community

"Over the past year, we have been listening to and understanding the needs of the creative community in Saudi Arabia," said Jason Day, Head of EMEA at Luma AI.

Day added: "The process of localizing the interface has been guided by the creative community, for the creative community in the Kingdom. Providing Luma Agents in Arabic enables the 400 million Arabic speakers worldwide to be prolific - going from first idea through to the finished outcome without the friction of working in multiple languages."

For creatives exploring AI tools, platforms like Luma Agents sit alongside a broader set of resources for AI for Creatives, including training focused on Generative Video workflows.

Rollout timeline

The fully localised Arabic-language interface for Luma Agents will begin rolling out later this year. Luma has not specified an exact date or whether the rollout will be phased across regions.

Why this matters for creatives

If you work in Arabic, this update removes a real workflow tax: the constant toggling between languages when prompting, navigating menus, and refining outputs. Teams can brief, iterate, and deliver in one language end to end. For agencies and studios in Saudi Arabia and the wider Arabic-speaking market, that means fewer translation steps and faster project turnaround on the platform.
