Protaigé launches Maia, an AI Account Director that runs marketing from existing work channels
Protaigé, a Singapore-based marketing automation platform, launched Maia on May 19. The AI system operates within the channels marketing teams already use-email, WhatsApp, Slack, and video meetings-to orchestrate campaigns end-to-end without requiring teams to adopt new tools.
The platform addresses a practical problem: marketing teams need to produce multi-channel content faster than traditional workflows allow, but maintaining brand consistency across that output remains difficult. Maia handles execution by connecting nearly 200 marketing tools across 30 categories, from strategy formulation to asset production to campaign deployment.
How it works
The system's core technology, called Brand DNA, encodes a company's brand strategy, voice, identity, and governance rules. This keeps assets on-brand at scale without requiring manual oversight on every piece of work.
Protaigé collaborates on briefs, pulls in live market intelligence, produces localized campaign assets, and executes across most platforms a team uses. Performance data from campaigns feeds back into the system to optimize future output.
CEO Chrissy Lim said the platform removes friction by operating as one system rather than multiple disconnected AI tools. "Maia operates inside existing communication and collaboration channels-connecting the stack, executing the work, and delivering outputs without requiring marketers to learn another AI tool," Lim said.
What marketers get
The platform can produce assets in minutes that traditionally take weeks. Lim framed the shift as one where AI handles execution while marketers focus on creativity, insight, and judgment.
Protaigé has onboarded over 1,000 brands since its beta period. The company raised $1 million in funding and won Best Newcomer at the Global Startup Awards, plus achieved a top-five ranking on Product Hunt.
The founding team includes industry veterans who previously led campaigns for Adobe, SAP, and Coca-Cola.
