RelativityOne now integrates with Microsoft Copilot through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), letting legal teams run administrative workflows and generate reports in Copilot using natural language. The integration, announced August 31, 2026, removes the need to switch between platforms for routine RelativityOne administration tasks.
Microsoft Copilot is the most widely used generative AI tool in the legal industry, according to the International Legal Technology Association's 2025 Legal Technology Survey. The survey found Copilot is used by 68% of law firms and 84% of the largest firms, which makes this integration a practical match for how legal professionals already work.

Legal teams can use Copilot Chat to stand up workspaces, organize case data, and manage legal operations through plain-language commands. Reporting capabilities include analyzing workspace access and generating administrative reports. Relativity said support for additional orchestration capabilities in Copilot Chat is planned for later this year.
