Sentry AI has deployed its 100th SolarGuard mobile security unit at a construction site, the company said Tuesday. The milestone comes as contractors face persistent theft of copper, equipment, and materials - losses that drive up costs and delay project timelines.
The SolarGuard system pairs solar-powered hardware with cloud-based AI and a 24/7 security operations center. When the system detects unauthorized activity, remote security agents validate the alert and can initiate a real-time response, including dispatching law enforcement. The company said its construction deployments have practically eliminated theft, with human agents taking action on an average of four suspicious events per site each week.
How the system works on zero-infrastructure sites
