Japan's SQUEEZE Inc. adopts ZUZU's RevMate AI for hotel pricing
SQUEEZE Inc., a Japan-based smart hotel operator, has integrated RevMate, an AI revenue management tool from ZUZU Hospitality, across its portfolio of over 40 hotels and serviced flats. The move adds AI-driven pricing capabilities to SQUEEZE's suitebook platform, a cloud-based hospitality operations system.
RevMate analyzes more than 30 market signals-competitor rates, demand patterns, local events, and other factors-to generate pricing recommendations with explanations. Rather than presenting numbers alone, the tool shows the reasoning behind each suggestion.
Vikram Malhi, CEO of ZUZU Hospitality, said the tool addresses a core problem in revenue management: "Revenue management has long been plagued by data overload: too many signals, too little context, and no clear reasoning behind the numbers."
ZUZU serves over 2,500 hotels across Southeast Asia. The SQUEEZE deal marks the company's expansion into the Japanese market.
How RevMate changes pricing decisions
Traditional revenue management systems often overwhelm hotel teams with data. RevMate's transparency approach allows staff beyond experienced revenue managers to understand pricing strategy and act on recommendations quickly.
By showing which competitor moves or market conditions triggered a price change, the tool gives hotel teams visibility into the logic behind decisions. This differs from black-box systems that output prices without explanation.
