System1 adds AI summaries and creative measurement to ad testing platform
System1 has integrated AI into its advertising testing platform, adding automated summaries to test reports and trialling AI-based creative measurement across some markets.
The UK company now generates pop-up summaries within its 'Test Your Ad' reports, condensing findings for marketers. These executive summaries explain results and reference the company's published research on advertising effectiveness.
System1's core testing method measures how participants emotionally respond while watching ads. The new summaries link specific scenes in an ad to viewer comments and highlight which brand assets catch attention.
The platform is also beta testing an AI tool trained on System1's database of emotional and distinctiveness responses. The tool estimates how consumers would likely react to an ad before human testing begins, offering what the company calls "directional guidance" earlier in the creative development process.
System1 positions the AI measurement as complementary to its existing consumer research methodology, not a replacement. The tool is currently available in select markets.
