Valtech has joined Google Cloud's launch partner program for Gemini Enterprise, a set of industry-specific AI solutions aimed at legal and financial services firms. The company, which holds Premier Partner status in Google Cloud's Services and Co-sell Partner Paths, will help enterprises move AI projects from pilot stage into production workflows.
The announcement, made August 25, 2026, positions Valtech to apply its sector expertise across two verticals. For retail banks and insurance companies, the focus is on customer support and compliance-aware AI for knowledge-intensive work like client servicing, research, and risk. For legal teams, Valtech will target contract and matter workflows, compressing document review from days into a fraction of that time while keeping client information protected.
Valtech works with major global organizations, including top pharmaceutical companies, and has built a repository of solution accelerators designed to cut deployment time from months to weeks.
From pilots to production
John Cunningham, CTO at Valtech, said the main hurdle for enterprise clients is no longer the technology itself. "The technology has become the easy part. The challenge has become demonstrating an ROI," he said. "Working in collaboration with Google Cloud, we continue to help clients move quickly from promising pilots to production - with our industry depth, engineering discipline, and governance that these sectors demand."
The partnership targets workflows where accuracy, compliance, and speed are critical. Valtech's approach pairs Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise foundation with industry-specific engineering, addressing the governance requirements that financial and legal organizations face.
Enterprise-scale AI for specialized fields
Satish Thomas, Vice President at Google Cloud, said the value of agentic AI depends on how well it fits the demands of specialized industries. "Through our collaboration with Valtech, we are enabling financial services and legal organizations to streamline knowledge-intensive workflows with AI solutions that deliver results at enterprise scale," he said.
For customer support teams in financial services, the practical takeaway is that AI tools built for compliance-heavy environments can handle routine client questions and document-related tasks. That shifts support staff toward higher-value work - complex inquiries, relationship management, and judgment calls - while automated systems manage the repeatable parts of the job. The emphasis on verifiable data and auditability also means support teams can trace how an AI-generated answer was produced, which matters when regulators ask questions.
Valtech's work with Google Cloud spans both the Services and Workspace partner paths, giving the company a hand in how these AI tools are deployed and how they integrate into daily workflows.
