Zendrop Launches AI Video Studio for E-Commerce Ads Under $20
Zendrop rolled out AI Creatives in beta on Tuesday, a video generation tool built into its dropshipping platform that produces user-generated content (UGC) style ads in minutes. The feature costs under $20 per video and requires no video team, stock footage purchases, or production agency fees.
The tool addresses a real cost problem for e-commerce sellers. Professional UGC creators charge $500 to $1,200 per video on average, according to JoinBrands. A store testing multiple creatives monthly can spend thousands before accounting for usage rights, revisions, or expedited fees.
How It Works
Video Studio pulls product details directly from Zendrop's catalog and generates finished ads with AI avatars and pre-written scripts in a single workflow. Every video exports optimized for TikTok, Meta Reels, and YouTube Shorts, then saves to a personal library for preview and download.
Users access the tool through Zendrop's platform navigation. Video generation runs on AI Credits, purchased directly within the app. Zendrop Academy will offer live training sessions and on-demand courses for sellers learning the feature.
Speed as Competitive Advantage
Jared Goetz, Zendrop's CEO, framed the launch around timing. "A trending product has a window of days, not weeks - and AI Creatives lets any seller go from product to finished ad in minutes," he said.
E-commerce margins depend partly on how quickly sellers can test new products and iterate on ads. Reducing the creative bottleneck from weeks to minutes gives faster-moving sellers an edge during short trend windows.
