AI agent for hospital administrators

Accreditation Inspection Readiness Agent

Current evidence for every standard before the inspection window

Accreditation Inspection Readiness Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Accreditation and regulator visits check hundreds of standards, from policy reviews to fire drills and staff training. Each month this agent maps every standard to its evidence, such as a policy with a review date, training completion rates, equipment checks or audit results, and pulls the latest evidence. A standard is ready only when its evidence is in date and meets target. A policy past its review date counts as a gap even if the content is still correct, and training under 90 percent completion is a gap. For each gap it opens a dated task with the department owner and checks again after the due date. Repeat gaps escalate to the executive sponsor. It drafts a readiness summary by department, which the administrator approves before it goes to leadership. Edge case: evidence from a merged department is remapped to the new owner.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A standard is ready when its latest evidence is in date and meets the target; anything else becomes a dated task.

  • Out-of-date policies are gaps
  • Training under 90 percent completion is a gap
  • Repeat gaps escalate to the executive sponsor

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

Hard limits

  • Never edits policies
  • Never alters training records

It stops when

An example run

What happensThree months before a September visit, 41 of 520 items were gaps, including 14 policies past review and fire training at 78 percent in theatres. The agent opened tasks with each owner. The July recheck still failed for 9 items, so they stayed open and two went to the executive sponsor. Theatre training reached 93 percent after extra sessions. The administrator approved the summary.
