AI agent for tour guides

Closure and Condition Watch Agent

Every upcoming tour's stops are confirmed open and safe, and any change is handled before the tour.

Closure and Condition Watch Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Museums, trails and roads change hours, close for works or become unsafe, and guides find out when the group is standing at the gate. Each week the agent checks official sites and alerts for every stop on upcoming tours, flags changes, and suggests alternatives. It rechecks the alternative's hours, access and capacity before proposing it, and it looks again closer to the tour date in case something changed. It drafts a guest notice and the new itinerary. The guide approves any itinerary change and every guest notice. Edge case: a trail that is open but has a weather warning on the day of the tour.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It treats a stop as at risk when an official source shows a closure, a change in hours or a safety warning, and picks alternatives of similar length and theme.

  • Check each stop 14 days and 48 hours ahead
  • Alternative must fit the tour length within 15 minutes
  • Warn guests at least 24 hours ahead
  • Flag any safety warning for the guide

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Look-ahead days (default 14)
  • Final check time before the tour (default 48 hours)
  • Alternative rules
  • Guest notice wording

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Guide approves every itinerary change and guest notice

Hard limits

  • Never send a guest notice without approval
  • Do not use unofficial sources for safety

It stops when

  • Done: all stops confirmed or replaced
  • Stop: the tour must be cancelled and the operator decides

An example run

What happensFor Saturday's walking tour, the agent finds the castle closes for works from the 12th. It suggests the nearby abbey, open until 5 pm with step-free access. The abbey check passes. The guide approves a new itinerary and notice. The 48 hour check finds a weather warning on the coast trail, so it flags it to the guide.
