AI agent for school counselors

College Recruiting Profile Agent

Create a verified athlete profile and a dated contact plan that meets eligibility and program needs

College Recruiting Profile Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A junior wants to play in college, but stats are in one spreadsheet, film is on a phone and test scores are with the counselor. This agent gathers each athlete's stats, film links, test scores and transcript. It checks them against eligibility rules and against what target programs ask for, such as minimum GPA or required measurements, and lists the gaps. It loops back to ask the athlete or coach for each missing item. When complete, it builds a profile and a contact list with the dates when contact is allowed. The coach and athlete approve before anything goes to a college coach. Edge case: if a target program has a higher GPA floor, it suggests adding two programs that fit better.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It compares each athlete's GPA, test scores and measurables with program minimums and rates fit as strong, possible or reach.

  • Rate fit strong only when GPA and test scores meet the program minimum
  • Do not list contact dates outside the allowed window
  • Require at least 2 film clips under 3 minutes each
  • Keep at least 2 safer programs on every list

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Target program levels (default a mix of reach and fit)
  • Contact rules calendar (default the governing body's calendar)
  • Film requirements (default 2 clips under 3 minutes)
  • Message tone (default confident and brief)

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Coach and athlete approve the profile
  • Coach and athlete approve each outreach message

Hard limits

  • Never send a message to a college coach without approval
  • Never invent or round up stats
  • Follow the sport's contact rules

It stops when

  • Done: Profile approved and first messages sent by the coach
  • Stop: Athlete is ineligible under current rules, so hand to the coach and counselor

An example run

What happensFor Sam, a junior forward, the agent lists 14 programs. Check one fails because the transcript is missing a grade; the counselor sends it. Check two shows 5 programs need a 3.2 GPA and Sam has 3.0, so it marks them reach and adds 3 better-fit schools. The coach and Sam approve the list and 4 messages.
