AI agent for account executives

Large Deal Approval Packet Agent

Give approvers a complete, policy-checked packet so large deals are approved fast

Large Deal Approval Packet Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A rep submits a large deal for approval and the VP, finance and legal each ask for something different, so it takes a week. The quarter ends. This agent builds the packet. It gathers the deal terms, margin, discount, legal flags, payment terms and customer risk from the CRM, quoting tool and contract notes, then checks them against the approval policy, such as maximum discount and non-standard terms. It asks the rep for missing items and rechecks until complete. It marks which approvals are needed and in what order. The VP approves the final packet and then it goes to the other approvers. Edge case: a custom clause is in the draft contract. The agent flags it for legal and tells the rep.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It compares each term with policy. Deviations determine which approvers are needed. A packet is ready only when every required field and attachment is present.

  • Discount over 20 percent needs finance
  • Non-standard payment terms over 60 days need finance
  • Any custom clause needs legal
  • Margin below the floor needs the VP

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Deal size threshold
  • Policy limits
  • Approver order
  • Packet template
  • Reminder timing

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • VP approves the packet before it goes to other approvers

Hard limits

  • Never approves or signs a deal
  • Does not alter contract text

It stops when

  • Done: all approvers decided
  • Stop: policy conflict that no approver can resolve, escalate to the VP

An example run

What happensA $480,000 deal has a 24 percent discount, net 90 payment and a custom liability clause. The agent finds the packet lacks the margin sheet and a customer credit check. It asks the rep and receives both. It marks finance and legal approvals as needed. The VP approves and the packet is routed. Approval takes 2 days.
