AI agent for account executives

Sales Account Research Gap Agent

Account briefs where every need is evidenced or a question.

Sales Account Research Gap Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Account briefs before outreach are often full of guesses about what the buyer needs, which leads to generic messages. This agent builds a brief from facts. It collects known facts from permitted sources, such as the CRM, the company's annual report, press releases and job postings. It then researches gaps that could change the outreach angle, such as a new leader or a cost-cutting program. Each assumed need is checked against evidence. If a need is not supported, it becomes a question to ask on the first call instead of a claim. The brief cites every source. The account owner decides the outreach plan and sends nothing until approved. Edge case: information older than 18 months is labeled as dated, not treated as current.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensA rep is assigned Meridian Freight on February 10. The agent maps 12 facts. The draft assumes the company needs route planning, but no source supports it, so the check fails and it becomes a call question. Research finds an annual report mentioning vendor consolidation, so the angle shifts to replacing several tools. The rep approves the brief.
