Speaking Request Intake and Briefing Agent

A complete, verified speaking brief ready before any drafting starts.

Speaking Request Intake and Briefing Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

An invitation arrives saying 'the CEO is invited to speak', and you spend days asking what the event is, who is in the room and how long the slot is. This agent turns that email into a brief. It extracts the event, audience, slot length, format and date, then searches for the host, past speakers and organizers. It lists what is still missing and drafts questions to the requester. After each reply it rechecks the brief and repeats until the required fields are complete. You review the finished brief before drafting begins. Edge case: if two sources give different slot lengths, the agent lists both and asks the organizer which is right.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A brief is complete when event, audience, slot length, format, date and key message are filled and confirmed by at least one source.

  • Required fields: event, audience, slot length, format, date, topic
  • Treat conflicting facts as missing until confirmed
  • Reply reminder after 3 working days
  • Flag requests under 10 days away as urgent

Make it yours

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Speechwriter approves questions sent to the requester
  • Speechwriter approves the final brief

Hard limits

  • Never commit the executive to attend

It stops when

An example run

What happensAn invitation to a regional trade forum on March 12 gave no slot length. The agent found the event site listing 20 minute keynotes, but the organizer's email said 30. It asked the organizer, who confirmed 25. It added the past speaker themes and attendance of 400 buyers. The speechwriter approved the brief and started drafting.
