Standardized Testing Administration Scheduling Agent

A complete assessment done on time with the right tests, forms and norms ready for every session

Standardized Testing Administration Scheduling Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A full psychological assessment can take several sessions, and it stalls when forms are missing, norms are not ready or the client cancels. This agent builds the test battery from the referral question and checks that each test is appropriate for the client's age and language. It schedules sessions, confirms the required forms, consent and norms are ready, and tracks completion. When a session is cancelled, it reschedules and checks that the order of tests still works. The clinician approves the battery and the schedule. Edge case: two tests that should not be given on the same day are in one session, so the agent splits them.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

Tests are chosen to answer the referral question and are valid for the client. Sessions must respect time limits and order rules.

  • Reject a test without norms for the client's age
  • Limit a session to the set time maximum
  • Do not combine tests marked as conflicting
  • Reschedule within 7 days of a cancellation

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Test catalog
  • Maximum session length
  • Rescheduling window (default 7 days)
  • Report deadline rule

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Test battery
  • Schedule changes

Hard limits

  • Never selects a test without clinician approval
  • Never stores test scores in its notes

It stops when

  • Done: all tests completed and scored
  • Stop: referral question is unclear

An example run

What happensFor a 9 year old referred for attention concerns, the agent proposed four tests over three sessions. One had norms only for ages 10 and up, so the validity check failed and it chose an age-appropriate alternative. The clinician approved. When session 2 was cancelled, the agent rescheduled it for the next Friday and kept the report deadline of the 28th.
