AI agent for corporate trainers
Trainer Handover and Cover Pack Agent
A delivery pack that lets another trainer run the course without the original trainer.
What it does
If your best trainer is out sick on Monday, can anyone else deliver the course from the slides alone? Usually not, because the real knowledge sits in the trainer's head. This agent reads the slide deck, facilitator notes and past feedback and builds a delivery pack with timing, talking points, likely questions and traps to avoid. A second pass scans every slide for missing notes and builds a list of questions for the original trainer, such as what story goes with slide 14. When the answers arrive, the agent fills the gaps and checks again. Edge case: a slide that says only Group exercise has no instructions, so the agent asks for steps, materials and time and adds them. The lead trainer approves the pack before it is stored.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Course chosen for a cover pack
- Read the deck, notes and past feedback
- Draft the pack with timing, talking points and likely questions
- Scan every slide for missing notes or activity details
- Does every slide have notes, time and instructions? If not: list the gaps as questions for the original trainer. Back to step 3.
- Send questions and merge the trainer's answers
- Are the trainer's answers enough to fill each gap?If not: ask a follow-up question for each still-thin slide. Back to step 5.
- Add traps and common questions from past feedback
- Lead trainer approves the packThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Stored delivery pack
How it decides
A slide counts as covered only if it has a talking point, a time and any activity instructions, and the agent asks the original trainer for anything missing.
- Every slide needs a talking point and a time.
- Activity slides need materials, steps and a debrief question.
- Questions seen in 3 or more feedback forms are listed as likely questions.
- Gaps that the trainer cannot answer are marked for the lead.
Make it yours
Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.
- Courses to cover
- Review frequency
- Format of the pack
- Who to ask for missing notes
- Feedback threshold for a likely question
What keeps you in control
It always asks you first
- Final pack before it is stored
- Any question sent to former trainers
Hard limits
- Do not invent facts or stories for slides with no notes.
- Do not store the pack without approval.
It stops when
- Done: all slides covered and the lead approved
- Stop: the original trainer is unavailable, so the agent marks open gaps for the lead trainer
