AI agent for director of business developments
Warm Introduction Path Agent
Map warm introduction paths to each target, request the best one and try the next if none works
What it does
People often know the right connection but nobody maps it. For each target the agent searches connections across the team, investors and customers, and finds who knows the target and how well. It ranks the paths by strength: recent contact, shared work or a direct relationship. It drafts an introduction request that is short, easy to forward and clear about why the target should care. It tracks replies, and if the first path says no or goes quiet, it moves to the next path. It logs the result. The director approves every request before it goes out. Edge case: the strongest path is a former colleague who left on bad terms, so the agent skips it and flags why.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- A target is selected
- Search team, investor and customer connections

- Is the top path current and in good standing? If not: Drop the path and use the next one. Back to step 3.

- Track replies for 7 days
- Did the connector agree to introduce? If not: Move to the next ranked path and draft a new request. Back to step 3.
- Draft the follow-up once the introduction is made
- Director approves the follow-up to the targetThe agent waits here for your OK.

How it decides
Paths are ranked by how strong and recent the relationship is; the next path is tried only after the first fails or times out.

- Wait 7 days before moving to the next path
- Use no more than 3 paths per target
