Prompts for Demand Generation: From Brief to ROI

This course is a set of prompts you can use the same day you learn them. Each lesson takes one part of demand generation work, shows you how to describe it to your AI assistant, and gives you prompts to copy and adjust.

You will use your own campaign details, so the output sounds like your company, not like a generic template. Nothing here is technical. If you can write an email, you can do this.

  1. The lessons
    1. Campaign Planning Foundations: Use AI to turn a campaign goal into a clear brief, creative angles, and a multi-channel calendar you can share with the team.
    2. Audience Segmentation And Personas: Use AI to turn raw notes and CRM descriptions into buyer personas, segment ideas, and tailored messaging.
    3. Landing Page And Ad Copy: Use AI to draft and refine landing page copy, ad variations, and lead magnet concepts that match your campaign promise.
    4. Lead Nurturing Email Flows: Use AI to plan and write nurture sequences, subject line tests, and personalized follow-ups that move leads toward sales.
    5. Sales And Marketing Alignment: Use AI to create sales-facing materials, follow-up templates, and feedback summaries that keep marketing and sales on the same page.
    6. Marketing Automation Workflows: Use AI to design automation logic, lead scoring rules, and tracking plans that route and measure leads correctly.
    7. Campaign Performance Analysis: Use AI to interpret funnel metrics, A/B tests, and underperforming campaigns so you know what to fix next.
    8. ROI Reporting And Optimization: Use AI to turn campaign numbers into ROI explanations, stakeholder reports, and a prioritized optimization roadmap.
  2. What the course covers

The eight lessons follow the shape of a campaign. You start with the plan, move through personas, copy and nurture, then finish with automation, analysis and reporting. Each lesson has prompts, an example, and a small exercise using your own work.

You do not need to finish all of it before you get value. The first lesson alone can save you an afternoon on your next campaign brief.

  3. How the lessons connect

Each lesson feeds the next. The brief from lesson one becomes the source for your personas, and those personas shape the landing page and the nurture emails. The tracking plan you build later is what makes the performance lesson possible.

If you skip around, that is fine, but keep the brief handy. Most of the prompts ask for it, and the output is better when the AI can see the whole picture.

  4. How to use the prompts well

Give the AI your real context: the audience, the offer, the channel, the tone, the deadline. Then ask for a draft, read it, and tell it what to change. Two or three rounds usually gets you somewhere useful.

Keep your own voice in the final version. AI is good at structure and options, and you are better at the sentence that makes a buyer nod.

  5. Who this course is for

This is for demand generation managers and the people who do that work day to day: campaign managers, marketing generalists, and anyone who owns lead flow. It suits you if you write a lot and report a lot.

It is not a coding course and it is not a strategy course. It assumes you already know your funnel and just want to move through the work faster.

  6. Safety and privacy for this job

You handle customer names, email addresses, deal notes and sometimes revenue numbers. Keep personal data out of your AI tool unless your company has approved that use. Paste a description of the segment instead of the list itself.

Follow your company rules on which tools are allowed and what can be shared. When in doubt, leave it out and ask. The prompts work fine with anonymized details.

  7. Your next step

Open the first lesson and use a campaign you are already running. Copy the prompt, add your details, and see what comes back. Then keep the output you like and build your own saved prompt list from it.
