Search Amazon.in for products, prices, stock and ratings, and get price history links, right from your AI chat.
This is a small helper that lets your AI look things up on Amazon India for you. You ask a normal question, and it goes to amazon.in, reads the product pages, and brings back prices, ratings, stock and links. It is handy if you shop on Amazon.in and want quick, side-by-side answers without opening ten tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot open a website or check today's price. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill. This one gives it a connection to Amazon India, so when you ask about a product, the AI can actually go look it up and tell you what it found.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like find me a wireless mouse under 500 rupees. The AI passes your words to this helper. The helper visits amazon.in, reads the search results, and pulls out the title, price, rating, number of reviews and whether it is in stock. It also picks the cheapest in-stock item and a best-value pick. Then your AI shows you the results in the chat, with links so you can check them yourself.

What it gives back to you
You get a short list of products with their title, price in rupees, MRP, rating, review count, stock status and a link. It also highlights the cheapest in-stock item and a best-value pick. For a single product, you get the full details like brand, seller, discount and delivery info. Everything appears as normal text and links in your chat.
Before you start
What you need
- Node.js 18 or newer installed on your computer
- The project files downloaded and built once (the README shows the commands)
- An MCP client like Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor
Good to know
It reads public Amazon pages by scraping, so a small share of requests may fail with a bot check, and it does not buy anything for you.
