Kids Stay MCP server
by sitebox · official
Lets your AI find kid-friendly hotels in Japan by real conditions like baby beds and diaper-friendly baths.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a database of kid-friendly hotels in Japan. The people behind Kids Stay checked more than 1,900 hotels against 48 family conditions, straight from each hotel's official website. It is handy if you are planning a trip with a baby or a toddler and normal booking sites cannot answer your questions.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to Kids Stay, a hotel search site for families in Japan. Once connected, your AI can look up hotels and their family conditions for you when you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question in normal words, like which hotels in Okinawa have a baby bed. Your AI sends that question to this helper, and the helper searches the Kids Stay hotel data. It comes back with matching hotels and the details that were checked, like whether the bath is fine for a toddler who is not potty-trained yet. Your AI then explains the results to you in the chat, with the date the information was last checked and links to the hotel pages.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search hotels by area, like a prefecture or a city
- Filter by family conditions such as baby bed, baby food or diaper-friendly bath
- Filter by the age of your child
- Set a budget range
- Open the full verified details for one hotel
- See the list of all 48 family conditions you can search by
- Check how many hotels are available in each area
Try asking your AI
- “Find hotels in Okinawa for a family with a 0-year-old, baby bed and baby food required”
- “Which hot spring hotels in Japan allow a toddler who is not potty-trained in the shared bath”
- “Show me family-friendly hotels near Kyoto under 20,000 yen a night”
- “Tell me more about this hotel, including what was verified and when”
What it gives back to you
You get a short list of hotels that match, usually up to 20, with the key family details for each one. If you ask about a single hotel, you get its full verified details, the ages it suits, nearby spots for kids and the official sources. Every answer comes with the date the information was last checked and a link to the hotel page. Your AI writes it all out for you in the chat, in your own language.
