HemmaBo MCP server

by HemmaBo-se · official

Let your AI find vacation rentals on hosts' own websites, check live prices and dates, and hand you a verified booking link.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Is Villa Akerlyckan free August 10 to 17?”, the HemmaBo MCP server connects it to Host's own website, and you get back details and a booking link.

HemmaBo is a helper that lets your AI look up vacation rentals that hosts book directly on their own websites, instead of through a big booking site. It checks real availability and prices, and it verifies that an offer really comes from that host's official site. It is handy if you book holiday homes and want to deal with the host directly.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to HemmaBo, which keeps booking information for vacation-rental hosts who run their own websites. So when you ask about a stay, your AI can look up real listings and prices there for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like whether a certain holiday home is free in July. The AI passes that question to this HemmaBo helper. The helper looks up the host's own website, checks the dates, and pulls a live price. It also checks that the offer is signed by that host's official site, so you know it is genuine. Then it gives you back the details and a link to book directly with the host.

What you can do with it

  • Search vacation rentals by place, dates, and number of guests
  • Check whether a specific property is free for your dates
  • Get a live price with a night-by-night breakdown
  • Verify that an offer really comes from the host's official website
  • Get a direct booking link on the host's own site
  • Look up the status of a booking you already made
  • Check whether a host's site is set up for this kind of direct booking

Try asking your AI

  • “Find a holiday home for 4 people near Gothenburg in the first week of July”
  • “Is Villa Akerlyckan free from August 10 to August 17, and what would it cost?”
  • “Show me a verified offer for that house, with the link to book on the host's site”
  • “Can you check the status of my booking with reservation ID 12345?”

What it gives back to you

You get back a short list of matching properties, or the details of one place: the dates, the price per night, the total, and a link to book on the host's own website. For verified offers, it also tells you that the offer was checked against the host's official site. It all shows up as normal text in your chat, so you can read it and click the link.
