RuneScape MCP server
by stefan-xyz
Lets your AI look up RuneScape and OSRS item prices, player hiscores, rankings, and player counts.

This is a small helper that connects your AI assistant to live RuneScape and Old School RuneScape data. You ask a normal question about prices, players, or rankings, and the AI fetches the numbers from the official wiki data. It is handy if you play RuneScape or OSRS and want quick, accurate answers without opening ten browser tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you from what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to RuneScape and Old School RuneScape data, like the Grand Exchange and player hiscores. Once it is set up, the AI can look things up there for you whenever you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question in plain words, like the price of a dragon scimitar. The AI passes that question to this helper program. The helper talks to the RuneScape wiki data sources and pulls back the current numbers. Then the AI shows you the answer in the chat, in normal sentences. You do not have to visit any website or copy anything yourself.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Check the current Grand Exchange price of an item
- See how an item's price changed over the last 24 hours, 30, 90, or 180 days
- Look up a player's rank, skill levels, and experience points
- See the top players for a skill or activity
- Check how many players are online right now
- Get an item's description, category, and members status
- See how many RuneScape accounts exist in total
Try asking your AI
- “What is the price of a dragon scimitar in the Grand Exchange?”
- “How much has the dragon pickaxe price changed in the past 30 days?”
- “What rank is Zezima?”
- “Give me the top 10 overall players”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in normal chat text, like a price, a percentage change, a rank, or a list of top players. For price history you get a series of dates with prices. For hiscores you get levels, experience, and ranks. For rankings you get a short list of names, scores, and positions.
