TAMM Smart Assistant Among Top 5 Finalists at the World Summit Awards
Abu Dhabi’s TAMM Smart Assistant has been recognized as a top finalist in the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2025, competing in the E-Government category (C7). This places TAMM among the leading digital government initiatives globally.
Developed by the Abu Dhabi Government Enablement Department, the TAMM AI Assistant is a key part of the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Strategy 2025–2027. Since its launch in October 2024, it has handled over 1 million messages across more than 630,000 conversations, supporting access to over 950 government services in Arabic and English.
This achievement highlights Abu Dhabi’s commitment to integrating artificial intelligence into government operations. The goal is to anticipate and address the needs of citizens and businesses efficiently through smart, human-centered digital services.
Advancing an AI-Driven Government Ecosystem
TAMM is one element within a wider AI ecosystem led by the Government Enablement Department. The plan includes deploying more than 200 AI-powered solutions across government bodies by 2027. This approach seeks to improve service delivery, boost productivity, and streamline public sector operations in Abu Dhabi.
Ahmed Tamim Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Government Enablement Department, stated: “TAMM’s nomination for this international award shows our commitment to building a smart and efficient government that serves people effectively. It demonstrates how innovation, aligned with user needs and strategic goals, can remove barriers and put citizens first.”
More than 400,000 users have engaged with TAMM, which autonomously resolves 95% of inquiries in real time. This frees government staff to focus on higher-value tasks. Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of TAMM, added: “This recognition confirms the impact we can achieve by combining innovation, data, and collaboration to serve communities better.”
